What is new

Changes to the preview builds, newest first.

  1. Preview

    Smarter Always On

    • Always On can listen with the phone microphone (or the pendant, or an Apple Watch on iPhone), checked on the phone only.
    • A conversation starts only when people keep talking, not on a cough or a single TV line.
    • Before anything is sent to your AI server, the phone checks whether a conversation is worth notes; the rest stay on the phone, marked Skipped, with Process anyway.
  2. Preview

    Desktop app, sync and better long meetings

    • New desktop app for macOS (Windows build in testing): records your microphone and computer audio together, offers to record when a meeting app starts.
    • Optional sync between devices, with read-only share links (being tested; the hosted service is not live yet).
    • Record with the phone microphone when no pendant is connected.
    • Optional location tags on conversations (off by default; never sent to an AI provider unless you allow it).
    • Long meetings: summaries cover every part of the meeting, not mostly the end.
    • Names and terms: the app learns the names you use and spells them right in transcripts.
    • Speaker profiles with voice samples (experimental).
    • Conversations wait for your AI server instead of failing when it cannot be reached, and finish on their own when it is back.

    Hybrid processing

    • New default: notes are made on the phone in seconds, then upgraded by your AI server when it is reachable.
    • Each conversation shows how it was processed: what ran on the phone and what ran on the server.

    Pendant setup, offline sync and firmware

    • Set up a new pendant from the app, or forget one.
    • Recordings made while the phone was away are synced from the pendant on reconnect.
    • Pendant controls: light, mute, find, sleep, double-press action.
    • Firmware updates from inside the app (experimental).
    • Conversation library with search, calendar links, tasks with reminders, Ask and 12 templates.
